WELFARE

The welfare of fellowship is coordinated by both local chapter leadership and the global executive arm. The of the global welfare is coordinated by a committee called Benefit and Welfare Committee (BEWEC), whose mandate by the global fellowship is to articulate and provide guidelines for the overall administration of care and benefits to members of the global alumni fellowship. Members of the Committee consists of a Chairperson and representatives from chapters.

The Committee works with stipulated guidelines as approved by the global executives. The welfare packages are categorized in this summary; Death of a member, Death of a member's spouse, Death of parents of members, Extreme case illnesses (note the term extreme) and Extreme case hardships such as loss of family income for a prolonged period. More details and criteria to access these funds can be obtained through various chapter groups. However, the various chapters also have welfare units that oversee the needs of brethren in chapters. The finance of the committee is funded through the generosity of members in the annual fund raising.

Leadership

Bro. Fred Nnadike is the current Global Chairman (GC) of NIFESAF ESUT. Bro. Fred Nnadike was elected as the Global Chairman during the last Biennial Homecoming event in July 2021. Previous Global Chairmen of the fellowship include Professor Hippolite Amadi, Bro. Emeka Ejim (of blessed memory) and Dr Nduka Eke.
